Mother and Stamps
Yesterday my mother asked me to buy stamps. Stamps are available in 2 paise, 7 paise , 10 paise , 15 paise and 20 paise denominations. For three types of stamps I was asked to buy 5 of each. For the other two types of stamps I was asked to buy 6 of each.
Unfortunately, I forgot which types I needed to buy 5 and which types I needed 6.
Luckily my mother had given me the exact money required to buy the stamps, Rs. 3.00 and the postal clerk was able to give me the correct stamps.
Can you tell me the number of stamps I received for each denomination?
it is quite difficult
(2*5)+(7*5)+(10*6)+(15*5)+(20*6)=300paise
Buy 5 each :
(5×2)+(5×7)+(5×10)+(5×15)+(5×20)
=10+35+50+75+100 = 270
So one more 10, One more 20will make 3.00 Rs.
Its too too interesting

15 paise=5 stamps
10paise=6 stamps
